The Road Ahead

Welcome to the part of our site where we tell you all about our goals and our visions for the future and the future of Capital Steel. We have decided to put this page on our website as we are very excited and forsee a future filled with opportunity, bold moves, greater expansion and a fantastic experience time and again with all our customers.

So where to start? Well I believe a good place to start would be to tell you about our planned moves into Europe. We will start by focusing on France first then we will look to conquer Spain and thats just for starters. We are expanding, and want to take you all with us, so get your phrase books at the ready mi amigos, we are going Continental. This is a very exciting time, we are faced with new markets to conquer, new difficulties, new challenges and we will embrace them all. We are currently working towards our CE marking for our buildings and expect to be able to start exporting later this year to the continent with fully CE approved buildings. All EU member states are currently mandatory for CE marking with the exception of a couple, Britain being one of them. That however, is all going to change in 2011 when the Construction Products Directives changes to the new Construction Products Regulations, which will make it mandatory
for us in Britain to be CE compliant. By working in advance of these new regulations to have our building kits CE compliant, these new regulations will not affect us when they come into force, as we will already be CE compliant. This also allows us to start to build a base of operations on the Continent and establish ourselves as a major player in Europe and the World. We are currently working through EOTA for our European Technical Approval.

We are also currently working towards ISO9001:2008 Total Quality Management. We are working with the British Standards Institute in conjunction with this project and are excited about the whole project. While this award means a lot of hard work on our part, we firmly believe that the time and effort is well placed as it gives you, the customer and the Distributor, the peace of mind that you are dealing with a genuine company which is audited regularly in conjunction with quality practices. At Capital Steel Ltd, we believe that
your peace of mind and trust are paramount especially due to the fact that there are some less reputable companies out there. We will always strive to portray Quality and Reliability in everything we do and the ISO9001:2008 Certification is a major step on that road. Alan Hendley our Country Manager and Barry Fleming, who heads up our new communications department, are both engaged in completing this task and we hope to have ourselves audited and certified by the end of the year.
